**This position is eligible for $6,000 Sign on Bonus**

**THERE ARE MULTIPLE FULL-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE.**

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Performs responsible work in rendering emergency and non-emergency medical care and life-saving measures to critically ill or injured persons of all ages on basic and advanced life support levels.

Requires successful completion of the North Carolina State Emergency Medical Services training program or an equivalent training program.

Employment is contingent on passing an assessment center, physical agility test, pre-employment drug screen, skills validation program, clinical and operational clearance during the year-long probationary period.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Requires successful completion of the North Carolina State Emergency Medical Services Paramedic certification program or equivalent training program.

SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

Must have a valid NC driver's license with a three year acceptable driving record.

**We are pleased to announce the EMS Academy 41 is open to accepting applications with hire date of February 2, 2026.  Three Assessment Centers are available.  The first Assesment Center is September 18th and 19th. The second Assessment Center is October 16th and 17th.  The third Assessment Center is November 10th, 12th, 13th and 14th.**
