RESPONISIBLIES:
This position is responsible for increasing the agency’s capacity to share information across programs and to evaluate the performance of those programs in support of family-centered outcomes. To provide data management for the entire agency with an aim to consolidate performance measurement and tracking providing for more efficient and accountable business intelligence and allowing program staff to focus on their programs. To support metadata creation and appropriate documentation for existing and future performance measurement systems at a local and state level. To provide appropriate analysis and reporting to meet local, state, and federal mandates as well as analysis for planning and predicting future goals and trends.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of basic program planning and evaluation principles and methodology;
- Some knowledge of computer-assisted statistical programs and working knowledge of statistical analysis of data;
- Ability to design data gathering instruments and to assess the validity of information obtained from these instruments;
- Ability to analyze data and to draw conclusions from the analysis pertaining to the evaluation of the value/potential of the program/project;
- Ability to make oral and written presentations on the analysis of the project/study, including preparation of detailed reports;
- Some knowledge of human service programs, principles, and practice;
- Knowledge and skill in the use of computer and web-based automated information systems;
- Ability to collect and analyze quantitative information;
- Ability to work with others on shared projects;
- Ability to understand and interpret policies and procedures;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Power BD, & Access), GIS & SPSS software
- Ability to work independently, while exercising excellent judgment in seeking appropriate consultation; and
- Ability to work under deadline pressure.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from a four-year college or university and three years of experience in research, evaluation and statistical application in the human service field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED QUALFICATIONS:
5 years of Government experience in Human Services and a BS in Business, Management or Information Systems.
